What is the reason behind your crèche's name?

When you say Adonai, you're actually saying 'My Lord'. That’s what the Lord Jesus means to us. That's how we want to keep it.

What are you grateful for about your crèche?

I am grateful for the grace of God that carried us since 2007 (when we started) until 2023, because even though it seems like we won’t make it, we can always testify that if it had not been for the Lord that is on our side and that He always came through for us, we would not have still been here.

Parent Feedback

  • I have spoken to my son, Ameer Solomons, about his experience at your crèche, Adonai Educare, and he seems very happy. He often speaks about his best friend, Thando, whom he loves playing with. He says they do everything together, including eating. This makes me so happy as a parent, knowing my child has a friend and, at such a young age, can learn another language and culture. During the June holidays, he seemed not himself and was saying it’s taking too lang and he misses his class teacher and friends. My child is very happy at your crèche and I’m so glad I placed him under your care. Keep up the good work as we parents leave our kid’s futures in your hands.
  • My name is Anita Mxaba, mother of Lihlume Cabuko. Lihlume started attending Adonai Educare in 2022 when he was 2 years old. He attends this crèche because of good feedback I got from a family friend. When you see a good crèche, you do not hesitate or think twice, especially when people speak highly of it. From that moment I knew that I made the right choice because of how quick my son learned to speak English and Afrikaans as he came from a Xhosa speaking crèche previously. As a parent, sometimes you do not have enough time to teach your children everything due to work and house responsibilities. Adonai Educare has potty trained him and within a period of less than 6 months, my son was not on the diaper anymore. I was doing my degree and so the crèche helped me to look after him because I would sometimes come back home very late. My son did not once feel left out because I could see through his excitement that he was indeed part of the Adonia family. I like the fact that the crèche involves parents in quarterly activities like crèche outings and fundraising. It is also amazing that the crèche does yearly concerts because this shows the true personality of the child, boosts self-confidence and self-esteem. I can recommend the crèche to anyone who wants their child to grow mentally, physically and spiritually. The crèche does not only teach the child education modules, but also teaches them how to behave, respect and carry themselves around people. The crèche also ensures that we as parents get quarterly feedback based on how the child is doing by providing us with an actual report.
