• I, Athenkosi Ngalo, am writing this to express my heartfelt appreciation and commendation for the exceptional care and service provided by Arise and Shine Educare Centre. My children, Ivakele and Ikho-iNkosi Ngalo, have been attending this crèche for 9 months and have thrived under the guidance and support of your dedicated staff. The warm and nurturing environment, combined with the engaging activities and educational programs, has made a significant positive impact on my children’s development. The staff's kindness, patience, and genuine interest in each child's well-being are truly impressive. I have witnessed significant growth in my children’s social, emotional and cognitive skills, and I attribute this progress to this crèche’s commitment to providing high-quality care. The staff's open communication and regular updates have kept me informed and involved in my children’s daily life. With all being said, I do want to mention the need for funding to support the renovation and improvement of Arise and Shine Educare Centre. As a parent whose children attend this crèche, I have witnessed first-hand the dedication and hard work of the staff, but unfortunately, the physical structure is in a state of disrepair. Despite these challenges, this crèche remains a vital resource for our community, providing essential care and education to 137 children.
• I am Sesethu Bhatala, the mother of the twins Azoma and Luviko Bhatala. Arise and Shine Educare Centre was recommended to me by a friend when my kids were 8 months old; that was after I have struggled to find a suitable nanny for both, as they were just discharged from hospital due to their health condition. At first I was very sceptical, taking into consideration their age and their health, as it was going to be the first time for them to be in a space where there’s a lot of children. I eventually took a leap of faith and registered my babies at the crèche. The warmth and welcoming attitude of both the principal and the teachers gave me the assurance that I was handing over my babies into capable hands. Within a week I stopped getting worried and wondering about anything and everything. I was so satisfied. I knew that for the entire 8 hours of my absence, my kids were well taken care of. My kids are now 5 years old and everything that they know today were taught to them by Arise and Shine Educare Centre’s staff. The crèche has made my job as parent very easy and the teachers have partaken a lot in raising my kids. I am so satisfied and I don’t have any regrets for taking the decision that I took back in 2019.
• I, Ize Mfaco, let my kids started to attend Arise and Shine Educare Centre at a very young age. The teachers from this crèche are warm hearted, caring, loving and have passion and patience for children. So, they are not just doing it for the sake of working. The crèche is very informative and even teaches our children a second language than their home language.
