What is the reason behind your crèche’s name?
We chose this name, because children are always busy being up and down! Happy Feet!
What are you grateful for about your crèche?
- That we can provide a safe place for the children.
- That we create employment for our community.
What is your crèche's vision?
Vision and mission
- to ensure that each child is safe and secure and also to provide quality education and care to our children
- to offer ECD related services to families and children determined by local needs
- to provide an Educare Centre for children 0-5 years which can be used for training and demonstration
- to develop programs to improve the quality of early childhood services
- to reach families (home visits, playgroups, parent programs)
- we also aspire to:
- work in partnership with the community
- meet the needs of all stakeholders
- work in teams and be supportive, encouraging and trustworthy
- create a friendly and open atmosphere
What extra services do you offer to the children of your crèche?
- daily meals (breakfast + lunch) during crèche hours
- an aftercare service for primary school children
- school excursions
What are the most important needs/prayer requests regarding your crèche right now?
- We are in the process of getting/buying 4 container classrooms. Please pray that this will realize soon.
- We need mattresses, tables and chairs for the children.
- Pray that the crèche will grow in numbers.
- Pray for security for the crèche and that we will be safe.

Monica is one of the best and dedicated teachers who was born for this industry and with a heart of gold. The 2 years my children have been with her, has been amazing.
