What is the reason behind your crèche's name?
The children are like birds, who from this Educare, get equipped to fly into a better future.
What are you grateful for about your crèche?
I am grateful that the parents trust me with their children, that they give us the power to continue working with their children and that we have good relationships with the parents.
Aims
Stimulation programs will be implemented to facilitate growth, understanding and development of the child. The practitioners and carers at the Centre will undergo various training courses, sessions and workshops to support them, implementing the necessary programs for the children as stipulated by the various relevant institutions or stakeholders. The main priority at the Centre is to develop the child under our care holistically, i. e., emotionally, physically, spiritually, socially, physiologically, educationally and mentally.

Parent Feedback
- I am Wendy Zilwa, mother of 3 children. All my children have been nurtured and given care at Little Birds Educare Centre whilst they were toddlers. My last born is graduating from the crèche at the end of this year. It is a great relief and a blessing for me as a parent that my children are in the hands of a school that puts God first. The staff handle our children with care, they are very welcoming and make our children feel loved and comfortable. The school raises kids with manners and respect. The foundation laid in our children is surely appreciated. Excellent work Team Little Birds. Keep up the good work.
- My name is Nelisa Nxantsiya, mother of Cebolakhe Nxantsiya, who is attending Little Birds Educare Centre. I highly recommend this crèche to anyone I come across as I am extremely satisfied with the service rendered there. Three of my children have attended the crèche and have since graduated there. Two are currently in grade 10 and another in grade 6. My fourth child is currently attending this crèche. The hospitality of the teachers is exceptionally well and the happiness that the children get when they are going to Little Birds Educare Centre, is priceless.
- My name is Sasha-leigh Roman, mother of Lilah Roman. When Lilah started to attend Little Birds Educare, she was only one year old. Lilah struggled with speech, but today she is 3 years old and does not stop talking. She can say her ABC’s, count till 20, know most of her colours and sings all nursery rhymes. Not only are the staff and the principle of Little Birds Educare Centre so friendly, they are also completely understanding and always keep me updated on anything concerning my little girl. My daughter has become extremely confident in herself and has made lots of friends. I always ask her at pick up time how school was and she always speaks highly of her teachers and her friends, in fact, she always says: “It was nice today at school’. I believe that a child’s actions reflect on the way these teachers are taking care of the kids. What’s most important to me, is that my child smiles when she walks in the door of Little Birds Educare Centre and smiles when it’s pick up time. One thing that also stands out regarding my daughter, is the fact that she’s mixed race. Little Birds Educare Centre has taught my daughter to speak bote Xhosa and English because that’s something I won’t be able to do as I do not understand Xhosa 100%. These teachers go out of their way to accommodate your culture. So, thank you to the teachers and principle of Little Birds Educare Centre for taking such good care of my daughter while I’m at work. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.
