What is the reason behind your crèche's name?
The meaning of the crèche's name is ‘to build’. So, I want to have an impact in my community.
What are you grateful for about your crèche?
- Our children do what they are taught, in English.
- Though we are using the church, lessons are on top and the teachers are very diligent.
Vision
To build future leaders holistically (intellectually, physically, emotionally) to get a concrete foundation.
Mission
- to provide healthy nutrition
- to provide well trained practitioners
- to provide a safe and secure environment
- to provide a good learning program
What extra services do you offer to the children of your crèche?
- an aftercare service for primary school children
- school excursions
What are the most important needs/prayer requests regarding your crèche right now?
- Thank God that 5 more children have enrolled in the crèche.
- We currently use a neighbouring church’s building for the crèche since our own church building didn’t survive the winter storms. We need to rebuild our church building which also serves as our crèche during the week.
- The teachers are underpaid. Please pray that God will provide in this regard.
- We still need more mattresses for the children.
- Please pray for a financial breakthrough regarding all above needs.

Parent Feedback
- I am Asamkele Nongwendu, mother of Lukhanyo and Likhanyile Nongwendu. Masakhe Educare Centre is very good in teaching our children. They do rhymes and activities with interest and cook breakfast and lunch for our children. We are proud of this crèche.
- I am Nonda Mbotshekwn, Lindanele’s mother. As a parent, I am satisfied about everything at Masakhe Educare Centre. My child is improving and responding well ever since she’s started at this crèche. She started attending this crèche at an early age and now she is 2 years old, but you might think that she’s 4 years by the way she knows the things they taught her at the crèche. I’d like to thank Masakhe Educare Centre for being present in my daughter’s life.
