What is the reason behind your school’s name?

An eagle can always fly high over all clouds and storms and God protects His nest from dangers.

What are you grateful for about your school?

I am grateful that God’s hand is on my ECD Centre. We are still open after 8 years and God continues to send new kids that we can work with to stimulate their brains. It gives me great pleasure.

  • to promote a safe place for children between the age of 0-5 years
  • to make children feel that they are part of the good citizens in the society
  • to promote a healthy development lifestyle for both parents and their children from a very young age
  • to educate parents on how to prevent childhood accidents and other related preventative diseases
  • to provide a stimulating playtime environment for children
  • to provide care, guidance and lifelong education to children
  • to network with other organisations working to promote the rights of children
  • train children on leadership, problem solving and communication skills so that they can report any illegal act that might jeopardise their lives during and after school as well as in their locations
  • to teach children and women about issues relating to child abuse and sexual abuse
  • to work in collaboration with organisations that mainly deal in ECD’s
  • to expose them to a challenging, informal, stimulating and safe learning environment
  • we will strive to do everything to the best of our abilities
  • we can also be open to any criticism
  • we promise to deliver excellent service in all areas of cleanliness, education and love
  • we have a passion to work with children, to love children and will see to the need of every child individually
  • we can also work under extreme pressure and have excellent communication skills

What extra services do you offer to the children of your school?

  • transport to and from the school
  • daily meals (breakfast + lunch) during school hours

What are the most important needs regarding your school right now?

  • 4–5-year class needs a sealing urgently, because it is very cold in the winter
  • our carport by the entrance is leaking and rusting
  • the baby class needs a window for more ventilation since it doesn’t get enough fresh air

What are the most important prayer requests regarding your school?

  • that my building plan gets approval – we have been struggling with it for 3 years already. Somehow the building was built wrong by subcontractors and now it's affecting the measurements for the building plan. I don't know what to do to get it approved.
