What is the reason behind your school’s name?

The meaning of the word 'Zisukhanyo' is 'light'. I want to bring light to my community.

What are you grateful for about your school?

I started the school without anything, but through perseverance I am still going on after 10 years, even with no funding from the government.

• to train and educate children from 2-5 years old
• to develop the children’s skills and empower them to meet their learning requirements

• to teach the children to understand and respect people who are different from them

What are the most important needs/prayer requests regarding your school right now?

• to be registered with the Dep. of Education
• non-perishable food, more mattresses and chairs for the children
• more consistency from the parents w. r. t. funds and attendance of their children
• consistency w. r. t. teachers
