What is the reason behind your crèche’s name?

The name 'Success Educare Centre' means that the centre was founded with the idea that every child who spends their formative years here, is better off: more confident, more competent and ready for a successful school career.

What are you grateful for about your crèche?

I am grateful for my centre, because it has caring teachers, is safe, offers quality education and healthy nutrition. Children are happy here.

Vision and Mission

Vision: to provide quality education and promote early childhood development that equips every child with the skills, confidence and values needed to succeed in school and in life.

Mission: to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children receive quality early learning and care that promotes their intellectual, emotional, social and physical development and prepares them for lifelong learning.

What extra services do you offer to the children of your crèche?

  • daily meals during crèche hours
  • an aftercare service

What are the most important needs/prayer requests regarding your crèche right now?

Thank God:

  • that the number of children attending the crèche, are still the same - they normally drop in winter.
  • that the children and staff are still safe - no one is sick except for the flu.
  • for receiving a donation of non-perishable food.
  • that once again, like last year, we receive enough free enriched porridge every month to feed every child at our crèche enough so that they can start the school day on a full stomach and therefore learn maximally.
  • for 5 children chairs being donated.

Please pray:

  • for us to get our NPO certificate as well as our Silver certificate so that we can apply for funding.
  • for us to save some money to buy second hand doors for 2 classes and cement for the front yard, just to make it smooth so that the children can play nicely outside.

Parent Feedback

  • My name is Nkamleheng Leluba, the parent of Tekano, who attends Mamgcina Educare Centre. I wanted to share some feedback about our experience. Firstly, I want to thank the staff for their hard work. Tekano has built a strong bond with the teachers who are very supportive. I have noticed positive changes in Tekano, especially in social skills and confidence. The crèche is clean and safe and the classrooms are welcoming. The outdoor play area is great for physical activities. I also appreciate the regular updates about Tekano’s progress. One suggestion I have, is to include more extracurricular activities and cultural events for a broader learning experience. Overall, I am very happy with the care and education Tekano has received. Thank you to everyone at the crèche for your dedication.
  • I am extremely pleased with the progress my child, Limokuhle, has made at Mamgcina Educare Centre. The teachers have been supportive and engaging and I appreciate the regular updates on my child’s development. The crèche’s focus on creating a nurturing environment has helped my child feel comfortable and confident. I am particularly impressed with the crèche’s well-structured daily routine, engaging activities that promote learning and fun and open communication with parents. Perhaps one area for improvement could be more opportunities for outdoor play.
  • My name is Felicity Fortuin and I am the guardian of Faith-Lee, who has been attending Mamgcina Educare Centre for the past year. I am writing to provide feedback on our experience with this crèche. Firstly, I would like to commend the staff for their dedication and professionalism. Faith-Lee has developed a strong bond with her teachers who genuinely care about her well-being and development. The facilities are well maintained and child friendly, with clean classrooms and a safe outdoor play area. Communication between the crèche and parents has been excellent, keeping me well informed about Faith-Lee’s progress and any upcoming events. While our experience has been overwhelmingly positive, I suggest incorporating more diverse extracurricular activities and cultural events to enhance the children’s understanding and appreciation of diversity. In conclusion, I am extremely satisfied with the care and education Faith-Lee has received at Mamgcina Educare Centre. The positive environment has played a crucial role in her development and I am confident she is well prepared for the next stage of her educational journey. Thank you to the entire team for their hard work and dedication.
